Good morning, fine denizens of the Internetz. We here at Casa Chicken are feeling particularly fine. I do? Why, thank you, yes, I did have the hair ripped from my thighs yesterday! I even got my bikini line waxed.
What?
I look as smooth as a new baby’s bottom?
Oh, stop now. I’m blushing!
You, too, are looking mighty fine this sunny April morn.
Our potty training woes, while certainly not behind us, are lessening. In fact, a certain small girl peed on the potty four times yesterday, with only one accident soiling her wee Ariel underpants. We went to dinner with friends and we all (!) slept through the night.
Today? Well, today is as bright and shiny as a new penny. I’m wearing capris and a T-shirt emblazoned with the motto, “Respect The Minivan.” I feel fierce and hair-free.
We’re gonna go to the park (I’m even busting out the Crocs) and after that, we’ll bake cookies. Maybe we’ll grill out if the weather holds. Who knows! This day is chock full o’ possibilities.
I know! Who am I? Who stole Mrs. Chicken?
It matters not. I’m in a good mood and I’m going with it. I leave you with a little musical interlude from my favorite rising pop star.
Get yer butts outside now.

Holy American Idol… now that was awesome. Beatles, no less! Of course!
Glad you’re enjoying the day… spring weather has that effect on me, too. As does bikini waxing.
Go you!
She has an excellent sense of pitch for someone her age. But I’m sure you and your husband know that.
I’m not someone to shave my legs often, but I just bought the Schick Intuition that has built in lather and I actually shaved yesterday morning. It was quick and easy and I think I might be able to keep up with it. Not sure how long the blade lasts, but it was worth a try.

If you got waxed, make sure to exfoliate otherwise you’ll get ingrown hairs.
Glad to hear all is right with the world!
That’s pretty good singing for such a little lady. Keep it coming.
Oh, she is the cutest little rock star. I hope you day today is just as wonderful as it started off.
That was awfully cute.
My son said “hey Mommy! That’s me when I was a girl!”
I just laughed. He’s so goofy.
she’s a rockstar.
love her!
Rock on, Poo! Love that she even got the bit where Paul gets a little crazy. She’s awesome!
Where’d you go for your waxing? I’m thinking about it.
it is so gorgeous here today, and I am stuck at work. Blech. My adorable mother is sleeping off a crappy flight in my very cute apartment, and I AM STUCK AT WORK.
But I will adopt your attitude
Paul would be so proud.
It’s not pretty out here – calling for SNOW in Washington state in April is crazy talk – but your mood is catching.
Thanks.
I am enjoying the sunshine from the window across from my desk at work.
I love that rendition of my favorite Beatles song. Rock on Poo!

Seriously, she just made my day! So, so cute.
And I will get my butt outside right now as we’re due for a snow storm this weekend. Fun!
Your post makes me want to bound outside and twirl in circles.
Had to come back to say, I so need to find one of those t-shirts.
Hope your day continued to shine!
I love days like this when everything just “works”. Rock on!
She’s hitting those high notes in a way that’s making Mariah Carey all jealous.
She is so cute! Briar is all about Wicked right now. She does a killer Popular.
SO CUTE. I like the BETTER BETTER BETTER part too. And the NAAAAAAAAAAAs.
Isn’t it amazing what the sun can do?
On a scale of 1-10 how much did the bikini wax hurt? I’m 46 and have only waxed my eyesbrows so I be chicken.
Ouuuucccchhhhh
Love the rising star!
