We used to put the small, portable training potty in the living room. One of the prerequisites to watching anything on TV was that she sit there and try during the beginning of the show.
I don’t fault you one bit for that one. If she’s relaxed and distracted, maybe the “poop door” will be open. We read or sing songs if we’re having a particularly difficult one.
