This is a pile of bags, bags filled with clothing and bedding. These bags, every last one of them, came out of my basement today. They will be prepared for sale over the next few days.
I’ve already gone through several of them, and let me tell you, the age of 6-9 months was a very profitable one for The Poo. I never knew a little girl who was better dressed.
Anyone need any baby girl clothes? Seriously. Email me and they are yours.

Well hey there- I’m having my first girl this September- if you still have anything let me know! I’ve lived in boy land the past 7 years!
Steph
Wowza! I bet I could come up with a mountain that size if I tried. I’m debating doing a tag sale now or waiting til the fall. Decisions, decisions. Good luck with the sale. How much for the cute kid on the pile?
oh little girl stuff! I have a friend who just had a little one….I am having massive baby envy
i am a 17 year old girl with a new baby. i am trying hard to finish high school. i am very confused and want to do the right things. I need baby clothing. please.
or at least that is what she would say if she could, if she weren’t in the midst of being a teen age mother.
seriously though, she could use the clothing. I can pay you.
thanks!

uh, maybe. my due date is in 8 days – but still don’t know what we’re having. I think we may be a bit far away to pick them up though.
never mind, didn’t read your other comments first – give the clothes to stephanie.
Ohhh wow…I see this as my future (hopefully the kid turns out as cute)…I am about 1/3 of the way there already in bags of ’stuff’!
We know exactly the problems you have with “stuff” around the place. We’ve only had our girls since February, and our house is straining at the seams.
Anything in the 12-18 month range? Since my two were so close together Lucy didn’t get as muhc booty as her brother.
We’ve been unloading stuff for the past 2 weeks in preparation for moving and it’s like a drug, I just want to get rid of EVERYTHING.
I am right there with you. Boy due in August and an almost embarrasing amount of little girls clothes and shoes all over my dining room awaiting the garage sale next month. Bought myself a price gun off of ebay for $5.00, completely worth it.
Yeah, I have a mountain of girl stuff in the basement, too, though mostly all contained neatly in rubbermaid tubs and labelled by age (hey, I’m a librarian). Like you, wtih the next one bing a boy, I’ve decided I better start getting rid of it, but I have a friend with an 8-month old girl who is going to win big by me… She’s a good friend! I think I’m just going to keep one or two especially sweet dresses and anything that can pass for unisex (which, up to about age 2, is a fair bit, but after that? All girl.)
Anyway, also wanting to say hi and that I’m glad my crazy, reactionary boy post over at life of ‘Pie was helpful for you to read. Some day, I’m going to take it down because I don’t want my little ones to ever know I felt that way, but meanwhile, I’ve had a couple of people say thanks for laying it out, and lots of commenters say they felt that same, which helped. Anyhow, a month down the road, I am coming to grips with it and getting to trust that us boy-mamas will figure it out and come to love them, weird parts and all.
You are about one month before me, so I’ll have to come read and see how it goes for you!
Wow, impressive! I just gave away a bunch of clothes that Mira has outgrown, and re-sorted what I’ll be able to use for her from Cordy’s old clothes. Sadly, they were born in opposite seasons, so not as much as I’d like works for her. Unless she wants a bathing suit in the winter.
Got anything leftover in the 12-18 mo. summer or 18-24 mo. winter clothing?
