    I was also a fork. I get dinged a lot for the “straightforwardness” (I am just slightly OFF when it comes to tact). The ambitious part, not tracking with that one though.

    Hope that things are looking up after your last post. Did you start your insulin?

    I could write a book on the husband getting PhD far from home issue. Where is the middle ground? Mine is still hestitating on buying the “dream” house to renovate because we might need to move for the job “one more time”. I’m too old for this. I want to feel at home, and I live in an unbelievably horrid little college town.

    yes - same as pgoodness - i too would have thought i would have been a spork, but ended up a knife!
    hey maybe we can invent some utensil that is a spork and knife! i think all us moms could be a “swiss army utensil thing”!

    my bday is 8-10, so it would not be so bad to go a bit late! i may be having a c-section again also… my ideal day: 10-09-08… it’s 20 days early, but i am already dropping hints at my ob appointments! my first was born emergency c-sec on 03-04-05 … really would love to induce labor somehow on 10-9-8 !!

    I’ve got to try this. Our school lunch program uses sporks; I’ve always thought they were rather wimpy refusing to give the kids a real utensil.
