My blessing after having my 9 1/2 lb. girls was a surgical glove full of ice clutched between my legs for 48 hours straight.
My blessing tonight, when my husband is out of town for 5 days, is two children asleep before 9pm and the Olympics on TV. Oh, and God bless Pepperidge Farm.
That sounds like a wonderful blessing.
My blessing, being able to do laundry at any hour of the day or night. I shudder when I remember what it was like to go to the laundry mat or when we rented and my washer and dryer was on my landlord’s side of the duplex so I was limited to what days and when I could come and use “MY” appliances!

My blessing is:
“that I have 2 wonderful wonderful boys, healthy boys”

This morning my 19-year-old volvo DROPPED THE MUFFLER on the highway. so i duct-taped it back on and drove home with the music on really loud and my sunglasses on to avoid the pointing and staring. sheesh.
I grateful for a friend who asked me to go have a pedicure with her today. I need some girl time desperately.
I am blessed to have multiple ways to get to work: bike (fun), train (fast), or bus (free). It’s awesome to have so many options. I’ve even worked from home a few times!
That I have my soul mate by my side every day, my family healthy and near me, and wonderful sister-in-laws with beautiful nieces & nephews when I have no sisters of my own, just my wonderful big bro.
That is a nice thing.
Mine is: my baby girl telling me this morning that she loves preschool, but she misses me when she’s there.
My blessing is that the medications I am on all seem to be in sync with each other, giving me many restful and contented days.
Healthy x 5
And, if I arrive to the restaurant late, Sean knows exactly what to order so that when the waiter walks up and I think I have to order something that will arrive 10 minutes after everyone else eats he says, “We’ll have that toasted wheat, turkey club with extra mustard for you in just a minute,” and as I go to say something he says,”Here’s your lemonade.”
*hugs* I hope the pain subsides soon!
Mine is having the opportunity to send Carter to daycare three days a week so he can socialize and I can bond with Hudson.
food in the fridge!
I am thankful for the power of the written word and its ability to provide an outlet, an opportunity for healing, and an escape when desperately needed.
