Well…she’s right. Right? I’m just going to console myself with The Poo’s logic. :)

BethanyA November 17, 2008 at 2:45 pm

Funny, but also kind of true.

Nan November 17, 2008 at 3:33 pm

Ahhh, TV. Best babysitter ever.

Hey, my kids learned A LOT on Sesame Street! And Bear and the Big Blue House. And Blue’s Clues. And Franklin. And Little Bear. And, wait…

I don’t know, it seems accurate to me. Like school without all those pesky other kids. :)

Scout's Honor November 17, 2008 at 8:03 pm

What?! What? All my kids have Ph.D.s in Tivo, don’t yours?

flutter November 17, 2008 at 8:30 pm

well sure it is, you clearly had her watching educational television….

cathy November 17, 2008 at 11:31 pm

Thank god for Sesame Street — for me and for E.

sweatpantsmom November 18, 2008 at 3:29 pm

You mean it isn’t?

Holy crap – what have my kids been doing in the living room for the past seven years?

Evan said he wanted to try home schooling so he could stay home and watch TV and play.

Poo’s right, though. One can learn a lot from watching the TV, yes?

Carrie November 18, 2008 at 10:03 pm

TB wants to be homeschooled too. Probably for the same reason as Evan, although he hasn’t said that in so many words :)

And seriously, isn’t Noggin’s tagline “like preschool on TV”? Poo is a smart girl :)

Heather November 18, 2008 at 11:11 pm

Nah. When you start telling your kids to sit down and watch tv instead of playing (**totally not me**) then you might question your parenting.

Kimberly November 19, 2008 at 6:48 am

Ha! That’s what I keep telling myself too! Clever Poo.

Carrie November 19, 2008 at 12:26 pm

That is what I tell myself when I am caught suddenly watching a very bad episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta! I mean, really????

There must be *some* educational value to it, right?

Mrs. Schmitty November 20, 2008 at 9:50 am

LOL. I thought it was kind of like a babysitter.

Courtney November 22, 2008 at 9:51 pm

Nah, sometimes TV can be educational. Maybe not ALL the time, but hey.
