Promises, Promises

When I grow up, I am going to invite my mom and dad on all my dates with my boyfriends, because I am going to live with them forever. Even when I have babies, so mom can take care of my babies when I want to go to the movies.

Don’t you wish. Cute picture.

I’m going to give that the same response I think you gave it (in private, of course)

Pfffft.

She’s a genius, really. If I had known how important it was early on to live close to family for the HELP…

She’s CLEARLY a genuis, not a day goes by that I didn’t wish I still lived with my mom so she could watch my kids while I go to the movies.

But how is she going to make the babies if you’re always with her? That might be a little awkward.

Joie September 1, 2009 at 10:48 am

And I bet you would help with her babies!

LOL! Remind her about that when she goes on her first date and wants to know why you and Mr C are getting all dressed up as well. XD

LOL… My son told me he would live with me forever! I asked to get get that in writing but he said we didn’t have to because he promised…… fast forward to age 17 and somehow the tune has changed.

My advice…. get it in writing! haha

That’s just about the cutest thing ever. Make sure you put that in her memory box and show it to her on her first date.

Ha. Yeah right. More like: “I’m going to forget about my parents for at least five years of my life coming only to them when I need money and some boy dumps me. When it finally hits me how precious my parents are to me I will have put them through years of grief, therapy and drugs.”

(But….they will love me and I will love them anyhow because that’s what families do.)

ah, what a cutie.

My 7 year old announced that he is picking a college close enough where he can come home for dinner every night.

When Giggles was Emmie’s age she told me how when she grew up she & her husband and her three kids; Sarah, Sarah 2, and Pinky were going to come and live off of me.

“Do you mean live with me honey?”

“No mom, I meant live off of you”

She’s a beautiful girl. My oldest tells me things like that too. I tell her she’ll change her mind when she’s older but she doesn’t think she will!
